1. Spend More Time Dismantling Damaged Hair

Most cases of breakage occur when the hair is combed wet.

International hairdresser Alessandro Calvio recommends gently drying the hair using the lip and dismantling curly hair using a large tooth comb.

“Try not to dry your hair with a dryer too much, use a low temperature and don’t make the dryer too close to the hair,” warns Calvino.

In the end, give your hair a break. “Don’t press the hair. Take a break from the curl iron and softeners now and then and let your hair normally dry,” Calview suggests.

If you have to dry your hair thoroughly, always curl your hair. And always protect your hair by using a spray to protect against heat first.

5. Avoid Colouring to Avoid Damaged Hair

Chemical treatment such as Colouring is one of the leading causes of damaged hair. “Chemical treatment is done frequently, weakening the hair and damaging its protective outer layer, the skin, causing the limbs to break and break,” Broadman says.
